WORKPLACE VIOLENCE
Workplace violence is one of the two leading causes of occupational fatality in the United States today. Threats of violence in the workplace are common. Violence can strike a workplace at any time, without warning, leaving tragedy, devastation and a shocked and demoralized workforce in its wake. The losses suffered by employers as a result of workplace violence, both in human and financial terms, are terribly high.
In response to the escalating problem of workplace violence, the Jenkins Law Firm has programs to help employers comply with their various legal obligations and maintain a safer workplace including:
- Conducting on-site assessments of the workplace to determine its vulnerability to workplace violence.
- Developing customized written plans to minimize the risk of workplace violence.
